Harshwaradhan Devtale (b.1993) incorporates aerial perspectives and landscapes of rural settlements in his works. He extensively uses watercolours and creates a transient atmosphere in the paintings. Devtale showcases skill and has a sense of stillness in his chosen scenes. His style is derived from traditional watercolour studies, focusing on architectural elements around him.
He is felicitated with multiple awards and prizes, which include the 61st Maharashtra State Art Exhibition, Mumbai; 130th Annual Art Exhibition Award by Bombay Art Society, Mumbai (2022); Tagore Award by Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal (2022); Godaspandan, Landscape Painting Contest, Nashik (2021); 103rd Art Society of India Award, Mumbai (2021); Kalabdhi Award, Kolhapur (2020) and many others. He has also participated in many group and solo shows. His group shows include ‘Versatile Touches’ at Art Entrance Gallery, Mumbai (2018) and Watercolour Camp, SFC Mega Mall, Sangli (2015). His solo shows include ‘Pratiroop’, SFC Mall, Sangli (2016) and ‘Nisargsparsh’, Shirol, Kolhapur, 2016. He has a diploma in Art Education from Kalavishva Mahavidyalaya, Sangli, Maharashtra.
